• Proposal and estimation function for Industrial Automation Business across Middle East and Africa.
Job Location:
• Bahrain
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for Proposal & Estimation of system Project pursuits covering PCS/DCS/Safety (ESD & FGS) solutions.
• Read and understand customer Specifications & Requirements.
• Working with Multiple EPCs on Bid requests and expectations.
• Design and establish fit for purpose solutions.
• Cost Estimation with strong involvement and collaboration with Yokogawa internal departments as well as third party/sub-vendors.
• Risks assessment and planning suitable Mitigation plan.
• Ability to conduct the site survey at customer sites required for estimation purpose.
• Participate in techno-commercial reviews and meetings with customer to explain the proposal and convince customer.
• Updating the Proposal information in periodically in CRM.
• Meeting Quality deliverables within expected timelines.
Qualification and Experience:
• Engineering Degree (Instrumentation and Control / Electronics and communication)
• Minimum 4-6 years’ experience in similar role in the automation and control system
• Sales acumen and passion for selling system solutions.
• Previous Experience is with major automation company preferred
Competencies / skills:
• The potential candidate has to be self-motivated and pro-active.
• Technical background (Engineering/site experience will be preferred)
• Fluent communication in English-both spoken and written mandatory
• Process/Industry knowledge will be an added asset.
• Focused and ability to deliver within customer time expectations which could at times stretch beyond office hours/ workdays.
• Computer skills: Office 365.
