Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in IT/OT Integration and Python development. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of both Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) systems, possess significant project management experience, and have a solid background in Python programming. This role involves overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery while aligning with the business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple IT/OT integration projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT and Operations, to define project requirements and ensure successful implementation.
- Utilize Python programming skills for automation and integration tasks as needed.
- Monitor project progress against established benchmarks and deliver reports to stakeholders.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to address potential issues.
- Facilitate regular project meetings to communicate updates, manage expectations, and foster collaboration.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successes and areas for improvement.
Skills
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in project management with a focus on IT and OT integration.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming and its application in project environments.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide teams and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
Desired Experience:
- Experience managing projects in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with IT/OT convergence concepts and technologies.
- Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are an advantage.
- Experience in stakeholder management and communication across various levels of an organization.
