Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire production process within the wood manufacturing sector, ensuring quality and efficiency standards are met.
  • Manage and lead the production team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Plan and schedule production timelines, coordinating with various departments to meet production targets.
  • Implement and monitor safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe workplace for all employees.
  • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for increased efficiency.
  • Maintain inventory levels and oversee procurement of materials and supplies necessary for production.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of the production area to ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
  • Prepare reports and present findings to senior management on production performance and potential areas of concern.
  • Train and mentor staff to enhance their skills and improve overall team performance.
  • Manage budgets and forecast future production needs based on sales trends and market conditions.


Skills

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in wood manufacturing or a similar industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of production processes and quality control methodologies.

Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in production management in the wood manufacturing sector.
  • Maximum of 15 years of experience preferred, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives within production environments.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools to streamline production processes.
