My client, a Big 4 Consulting Group, is seeking an Internal Audit Manager to join them in Bahrain.
As an Internal Audit Manager, you will play a key role in advising and supporting a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.
This role is ideal for a seasoned audit professional who is passionate about providing strategic insights, driving process improvements, and ensuring robust risk management and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit Planning and Execution: Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of risk-based internal audits across client engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify key financial, operational, and compliance risks, developing strategies to address them.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with senior management, audit committees, and other stakeholders to communicate audit findings and provide actionable recommendations.
- Process Improvement: Identify and advise on best practices and opportunities for process improvements to enhance clients’ operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of internal audit professionals, ensuring high-quality deliverables and fostering a collaborative and supportive team culture.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present detailed reports summarizing audit results, findings, and recommendations to clients’ senior management.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or compliance, preferably within a Big 4 or similar professional services firm.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. Professional certification in CISA is essential. ICAEW, ACCA, and CPA are desired.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of audit frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and data analysis tools.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex business processes and identify risks.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to present complex findings to non-technical audiences.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience in managing and motivating teams, with a commitment to developing talent and fostering a positive work environment.
