Job Description

  1. IT Strategy and Planning
  • Develop and implement the company’s IT strategy in alignment with business goals.
  • Plan and design new IT infrastructure and technology initiatives.
  • Stay informed about the latest IT trends and emerging technologies.
  1. IT Infrastructure Management
  • Oversee the operation, maintenance, and upgrades of IT systems, including servers, networking, storage, and security.
  • Ensure the IT infrastructure meets the company's operational and security requirements.
  • Monitor system performance and resolve issues promptly.
  1. Team Leadership
  • Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team members have access to training and development opportunities.
  1. Budget and Resource Management
  • Manage the company’s IT budget, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Procure necessary hardware, software, and services within budget constraints.
  1. IT Governance and Compliance
  • Ensure IT systems comply with internal policies and external regulatory standards.
  • Maintain documentation of IT processes and systems for quality and compliance purposes.
  1. Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Group IT Manager and other senior executives to align IT operations with business objectives.
  • Provide expert advice on IT matters to support decision-making at the executive level.
  1. Reporting and Documentation
  • Prepare and submit monthly and yearly reports on IT operations, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Document and maintain IT policies, procedures, and infrastructure details.


Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure and technology management.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Proficient in managing IT infrastructure components (servers, networking, storage, and security).
  • Experience in IT project management and implementing new technologies.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Capable of adapting quickly to new technologies and business requirements.
