Description
Manages IT strategy and aligns with enterprise goals, oversees strategic plan development, business planning and ensures RFPs meet required quality and strategic standards
Drives the improvement of IT governance frameworks, manages IT budgets, benchmarks IT investments, oversees risk / compliance management and leads on vendor management
Collaborates on data governance frameworks, ensures regulatory compliance and manages IT ESG initiatives as the single point of contact for the organisation
Leads the transition from a process optimised to a service optimised IT model, implements continuous improvement programs and maintains IT policies
Develops robust reporting mechanisms for IT performance and assumes full CIDO responsibilities as required
Profile
Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, Masters highly preferred
Minimum of 15 years operational experience working in IT, with at least 5 years experience in IT leadership positions managing cross-functional project teams
An expert in IT strategic planning, with extensive exposure to IT governance formulation, budget planning and organisational change management
Proven ability to increase operational efficiency and service delivery across multiple business units
Exceptional communication and inter-personal skills that you leverage to influence senior internal and external stakeholders
