Job Description

FRP Expert will be responsible for overseeing the design, production, and optimization of FRP-based components, ensuring

Key responsibilities and duties:


  • FRP Design & Development: Collaborate with the R&D team and product engineers to design and develop FRP components, ensuring optimal performance, weight reduction, and cost-efficiency for various industries.
  • Manufacturing Process Expertise: Oversee the FRP manufacturing process, including hand lay-up, resin infusion, vacuum bagging, filament winding, and other advanced composite techniques.
  • Material Selection: Conduct research and advise on the best materials (fibers, resins, additives) for specific applications to enhance the performance and cost-effectiveness of FRP products.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure the highest quality of FRP products.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all FRP products meet or exceed industry and customer standards. Conduct testing, inspections, and quality control procedures to verify material integrity and performance.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Provide technical support during production and address any challenges related to FRP materials, equipment, and processes.
  • Training & Knowledge Sharing: Mentor junior engineers and manufacturing teams, sharing knowledge about best practices, safety standards, and the latest advancements in FRP technology.
  • Client Interaction: Work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide technical advice, and ensure their requirements are met from design to production.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and environmental guidelines in the FRP manufacturing process Key responsibilities and duties:

Qualifications
  • Graduate Engineer preferably with a Chemical / Mechanical or Polymer engineering background.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of industry experience with hands on approach on the process or manufacturing side.

Additional Information
  • Deep expertise in Fiber Reinforced Polymers (FRP).
  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing processes material selection, quality control, and product development
