Job Description

  • Assist the Head Chef in the preparation and presentation of Moroccan dishes.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food quality and hygiene are maintained.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to create innovative Moroccan menus.
  • Manage inventory and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
  • Help to ensure the smooth-running of your section, working closely with the team.
  • Have a high standard of food preparation, attention to detail, portion control and minimal wastage.
  • Keep organized and maintain high standards of kitchen area.
  • Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and all associated equipment with high levels of health and safety standards.
  • Deliver an exceptional experience for our guests from the kitchen.
  • Maintains the standards of performance as detailed in the Departmental Operations Manual to ensure the efficient operation of the department in accordance with Hotel Policy.
  • Carry out other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or similar role, with a focus on Moroccan cuisine.
  • Strong knowledge of Moroccan cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred.
