Install, configure, and maintain databases (e.g., MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle). Implement database security measures to protect sensitive data. Manage backups, recovery plans, and database migrations. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and outages.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in
Computer Science,
Information Technology,
Software Engineering, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in
database administration and management. Strong hands-on experience with
MS SQL,
MySQL,
PostgreSQL, and
Oracle databases. Proven expertise in implementing
database security measures, backup strategies, and disaster recovery planning. In-depth knowledge of
backup and
recovery processes and
database migrations. Experience in
troubleshooting and resolving database issues and system outages.
Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g.,
Hadoop,
MongoDB) and
ETL processes is a plus. Knowledge of
performance tuning,
optimization, and
capacity planning for databases. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Certifications in database technologies such as
Oracle,
Microsoft SQL Server, or
PostgreSQL would be an added advantage. Familiarity with
cloud-based database solutions and management (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
