Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of credit control procedures, financial regulations, and accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing and monitoring our company’s credit, ensuring timely payment from clients, and maintaining positive customer relationships while safeguarding the company’s financial stability.
Job Description and Responsibilities
Manage credit policies and ensure timely collections.
Contact clients to follow up on overdue payments and negotiate payment plans, if necessary, to ensure outstanding debts are collected and recorded accurately, maintaining cash flow, reducing bad debts, and ensuring the financial stability of the company.
Engage sales and operations staff at appropriate levels by conducting internal receivables review meetings and providing updates accordingly.
Reconcile customer accounts to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded, verifying and matching customer invoices, payments, and credits with the company’s records to maintain accurate accounts receivable records, detect and resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely collection of payments.
Monitor outstanding balances and minimise financial risks.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment issues.
Prepare reports on accounts receivable and cash flow.
