We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant to join our dynamic tax team in Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing tax advisory and compliance services to our clients, with a focus on VAT, corporate tax, and international tax.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise clients on VAT, corporate tax, and international tax matters, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations Prepare and review tax returns, tax computations, and other tax-related documents Conduct research on tax laws and regulations to provide accurate and timely advice to clients Assist in tax planning and structuring for clients to minimize tax liabilities and optimize tax efficiency Liaise with tax authorities and handle tax audits and inquiries on behalf of clients Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate updates to clients and team members Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide excellent client service Mentor and train junior team members on tax matters and assist in their professional development Collaborate with other departments within the firm to provide integrated solutions to clients' business needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax, preferably in a consulting or accounting firm Strong knowledge of VAT, corporate tax, and international tax laws and regulations Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Proficient in Microsoft Office and tax software.
