What You'll Do

• Maintain Standards: Ensure all pastries meet the standards, recipes, and consistency levels set by Kitopi and our brands.
• Punctuality: Report to work on time and check the schedule in advance.
• Daily Production: Prepare daily production as scheduled and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
• Stock Management: Establish par stock levels to prevent overproduction and waste.
• Food Safety: Organize chillers and freezers according to food safety standards. Fill in temperature logs and take necessary actions.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all kitchen equipment is in proper working condition.
• Quality Control: Maintain the highest quality and appearance of all prepared food.
• Sanitary Practices: Adhere to sanitary standards and practice the “Clean as you go” policy.
• End of Shift Duties: Break down and clean food production areas at the end of shifts.
• Proper Rotation: Follow procedures for the proper rotation, dating, labeling, and covering of food items.
• Cleaning Procedures: Use cleaning supplies according to procedures.
• Standards Adherence: Follow Kitopi and the brands' standards consistently.

Who Are We Looking For?

• Experience: Previous experience in a similar environment, with a high-volume catering background preferred.
• Pastry Skills: Demonstrated strong understanding and experience in basic pastry techniques.
• Communication: Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing).
• Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Education: Certification in culinary arts or food management is preferred.
• Language: Good level of English is essential.
• Vaccination: Due to new regulations, only vaccinated candidates will be considered.
