Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Central Dispatcher Center (CDC) operations for the Intercity Bus Project 
  • Coordinate and oversee the dispatching of intercity buses to ensure on-time departures and arrivals.
  • Implement and maintain efficient communication systems to liaise with drivers, operators, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze real-time data to optimize bus schedules and routes for maximum efficiency.
  • Resolve any operational issues or emergencies that may arise during bus operations.
  • Supervise and train CDC staff to maintain high standards of performance and service quality.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve overall transportation services and customer satisfaction.


Skills

Essential Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and managerial skills to effectively oversee CDC operations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities to coordinate bus dispatching activities.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards to ensure compliance.
  • Problem-solving skills to address operational issues and emergencies efficiently.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions to maintain bus service quality.

Desired Experience:

  • Prior experience in managing transportation operations or dispatch centers is preferred.
  • Familiarity with intercity bus services and route planning would be advantageous.
  • Experience in supervising and training staff to achieve operational excellence.
  • Demonstrated success in optimizing bus schedules and enhancing operational efficiency.
