Responsibilities and Duties:
- Define a set of activities, guidelines, templates, reviews and traceability matrices to make sure that deliverables fulfill the client needs and meet the industry standards.
- To create an understanding of the client requirements by a series of activities to gather and compile the client needs. This might include – but not limited to – conducting business requirements gathering workshops at different levels, storyboarding and using questionnaires.
- Refine and detail the requirements by use case modeling, business process modeling, and defining system actors, to create a common understanding of the functionalities being addressed by the system.
- Create the system definition based on the information gathered and analyzed. The SRS document contains all the specifications of the system requirements to be built. This includes – but not limited to- creating use-case models, use-case descriptions, process flows and description.
- Create the traceability matrix is created to make sure that all requirements are addressed in the specifications and further on in the project lifecycle.
- Conduct peer reviews to SRSs to make sure that they contain all the information needed, and that they are up to the standards imposed by the STS Requirements Development and Management process. Conduct the Requirements Change Management process for managing changes to the system definitions.
