About the Job:


We are currently seeking for an expert Associate Director of Marketing to join Jumeirah family!You will be tasked with the effective and efficient development and management of both short- and long-term marketing communications, promotions, and merchandising initiatives, both online and offline, to support Jumeirah Bahrain’s Rooms, F&B, Spa, and brand extensions, while also contributing to the broader brand equity goals of Jumeirah. You will actively monitor, guide, and support the implementation and compliance of Jumeirah brand standards within the property. Additionally, you will create and execute the resort's public relations strategy.


Duties and responsibilities of this role:


  • Responsible for leading and develop the resort’s dynamic Marketing and Communications team across PR, Marketing and Partnership Development. Plan, develop, execute, and periodically adjust comprehensive Rooms/F&B/Spa and PR marketing strategies and programs in support of JGB strategic priorities and key performance indicators – Balanced Scorecard approach addressing business to business and business to consumer profitable target audiences.
  • Proactively interact with Jumeirah Corporate/Regional Sales and Marketing teams on development and deployment of marketing programs that support Rooms/F&B/Spa/PR of Bahrain hotels customer acquisition and retention tactics.
  • Working directly with Jumeirah Group’s loyalty department to support Sirius member enrolment, relevant benefits, redemption, reward and overall recognition.
  • Managing the property’s agency relationships (advertising, graphic design, printing, promotional events) to educate and ensure that these partners truly understand and can maximize the value of the Jumeirah brand.
  • Identify and execute specific competitive and customer insight projects to improve the understanding of the customer, the level of the overall guest experience, and revenue generating, product/service innovations.
  • Working with Group e-commerce and distribution team to develop innovative/profitable digital Rooms/F&B/Spa marketing strategies, website optimization, online social marketing and revenue generating digital marketing programs including pay-per-click and e-mail campaigns.
  • Ensuring the property’s alignment with Jumeirah Brand Strategy; this includes bringing the Jumeirah brand to life among colleagues and customers alike.
  • Assisting the Director of Sales & Marketing in creating the Business & Strategic Plan preparation
  • Assisting the Director of Sales & Marketing in the Budget Preparation (expenses).
  • Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management.

About You:


The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field from an accredited and reputable university.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in brand marketing within a luxury property.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to persuade others to consider alternative perspectives.
  • Experience in budget management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of various media forms, consumer research, and the development and management of marketing campaigns.
  • Expertise in new media and digital marketing, along with distribution strategies.
