The assistant director of rooms is responsible for all departments in the rooms division and provides guidance and support to the HODs in said division. This position is aimed at making sure that the division achieves all KPIs, financial and service quality related, and is directly responsible for all employees and their satisfaction in the rooms departments.

What you will do



Monitor employee performance through the heads of department maintaining excellent knowledge of all colleague related issues.
Lead all departments in the division (FO, Concierge, Housekeeping, Spa, Bell & Door, Boutique)
Provide guidance and support to all heads of departments to ensure they can manage their departments efficiently and that they are well equipped to meet the demands of the operation.
Monitor and streamline all procedures to ensure they are guest oriented and aimed at providing the best possible guest experience.
Review guest activities to ensure they are relevant and adding to our guest experience.
Meeting VIPs and serving as a point of contact to ensure they feel recognized and contribute this way to their experience.
Is fully aware of all KPIs and financial goals of the hotel in order to communicate, motivate and direct the teams to achieve them.
Be a driving force behind guest centric projects, aimed at elevating the experience and recognition of qualifying guests.
Be a driving force behind the development of colleagues to ensure a desirable talent pipeline.
Observes physical condition of all front and back of house areas to ensure product is kept at the desired level.
Attends regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and partnership between departments and delegates/shares accordingly.

What you bring



Excellent communication and organizational skills; reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
Bachelor’s degree is a must.
Previous experience in same position with Luxury Brand.
Proven record and experience in Hotel Operations
High degree of analytical abilities
Proven record of building strong relationships with all stake holders.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Strong focus on attention to detail and people development
