Application Developer and Automation Specialist

Technical Skills:

Job Description:

• Design, develop, and implement web and client/server applications, APIs, and automated workflows to streamline business processes, increasing efficiency and productivity. This includes modifying and maintaining both new and existing applications.
• Maintain and optimise applications by updating existing systems and ensuring they function effectively. Design and manage SQL databases, including coding Stored Procedures, Functions, and Triggers in SQL Server.
• Analyse IT systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and implement automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate.
• Apply strong SQL knowledge and extensive scripting skills to develop Stored Procedures, Functions, and Triggers for efficient database management.
• Monitor and troubleshoot automated systems, ensuring optimal performance and resolving technical issues.
• Collaborate with departments to understand their IT requirements and deliver automated solutions tailored to their needs.
• Lead and manage IT automation projects, ensuring timely completion within the defined scope and budget.
• Test and document applications, ensuring quality and functionality while keeping detailed records of system architectures, designs, integrations, and modifications.
• Stay current with technology trends and propose innovative solutions to enhance IT operations and performance.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2 to 3 years’ experience in a related field in full-stack development, API creation, and automation processes.
• Proficiency in coding languages relevant to IT automation and system integration.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, databases, and network systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services and DevOps practices.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
