A premier online reseller of cutting-edge computer and gaming technology with a rich history of innovation and customer dedication is looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Coordinator to join their marketing team in the consumer electronics industry. You will be responsible for managing their social media presence, engaging with our customers, and driving brand awareness for our major electronic and gaming brand partners across key platforms. Location: Fully Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM - 6 PM EST
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage content calendars for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc)
Create and schedule posts that align with brand messaging, help drive the business, or further engage with our audience.
Monitor, engage with, and respond to followers on social media channels.
Track social media performance and report on metrics to refine strategies.
Assist with running paid social media campaigns and ad management, as needed.
Coordinate with various teams and management internally to ensure alignment on advertising priorities and social strategy.
Stay up-to-date on current industry events, news with key partners, and relevant product launches.
Stay up-to-date on trends and new social media tools to enhance strategy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
2+ years of experience in social media management, preferably in the consumer electronics or tech industry.
Experience with paid social ads (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads).
Strong understanding of social media platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Google Analytics).
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Qualifications:
Experience with platforms such as Reddit and Twitch.
Knowledge of SEO and content marketing strategies.
Previous social media experience in the consumer electronics industry within a retail environment.
