Purpose of the Job

Achieving and exceeding sales targets within their designated territory or market segment. Leading and motivating a sales team, developing and implementing effective sales strategies, and fostering strong client relationships.




Job Description
  • Lead the assigned sales team, providing coaching, mentorship, and motivation to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Develop and implement a territory-specific sales plan aligned with the broader commercial strategy set by the Commercial Manager.
  • Establish clear sales objectives by creating quotas and sales plans for the assigned team.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Oversee the development of sales materials and presentations tailored to the needs of specific customer segments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and exceeding their expectations.
  • Develop and execute strategies to acquire new key clients across designated industry verticals.
  • Manage and grow existing client relationships through effective account management and cross-selling of multiple products and logistics solutions.
  • Monitor sales team performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance sales conversion rates and optimize sales team efficiency.
  • Participate in the talent management process by supporting the development and training of the sales team.
  • Regularly report sales performance metrics to the Commercial Manager.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures related to sales activities.
     


Job Responsibilities - Experience and Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or sales or any other field 
  • At least 5 years sales experience, preferably in related industry 
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • CRM Proficiency is a plus
