Job Description

Danone MENA is looking for a highly dynamic Multi channel engagement Manager (MENA) for its Specialized Nutrition Business in the Middle East and North Africa region to be based in Algier, Algeria


Key Responsibilities:


  • Support the vision of creating a best-in-class Specialized Nutrition (SN) MCE organization, considering the diversity of HCPs and the entire SN brand portfolio across MENA markets 
  • Create and implement strategies, initiatives, and action plans for optimal deployment, impact, and measurement of key owned and paid channels within a multi-channel context 
  • Provide pilot and scale-up engagement solutions, including paid social media, search, objective-based advertising, retargeting audiences, account-based marketing, and brand lift studies, rep-triggered digital initiatives
  •  Translate global guidelines into local strategies, focusing on rep-triggered channels, medical events digitization, and paid and earned digital channels 
  • Identify partnerships, projects, and key developments based on local and global needs, challenges, and strategic priorities, coordinating with cross-functional teams 
  • Support local teams with guidance to build annual MCE plans, map and prioritize touchpoints based on channel potential, customer preferences, benchmarks, and competitor analysis 
  • Foster collaboration and best practices sharing between countries and teams, leveraging external insights and industry trends to strengthen the MCE model 
  • Set the technical foundation for the HCP digital journey 
  • Coordinate with brand teams to optimize content and format for maximal engagement

Candidate Profile:


To be successful in this role Cross Functional Coordination and leadership is required. Also the ability to move from insights/analytics to actions/recommendations and helicopter view across multiple areas/categories and across all regions.


  • 3-6 years of experience in marketing roles within the healthcare/pharmacy industry, successfully activating medical plans/events 
  • Strong industry/trends knowledge to identify opportunities to optimize the MCE approach and performance 
  • Result-driven, applying test and learn principles with local and global teams to meet evolving customer needs and expectations
  • Ability to navigate the different dynamics of all MENA markets and understand the different needs across them
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to drive internal MCE transformation
  • Fluent in Arabic, French, and English, both written and spoken
