Job Description

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE


Lead and manage Maintenance by enhancing its developments based on Jotun’s values and in accordance with local, regional, and corporate objectives and guidelines to ensure the right equipment reliability and maintain HSEQ standards while optimizing maintenance cost.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead the Maintenance team in line with Leadership Expectations and tools to develop, coach, and guide its members to ensure a workforce that is competent, engaged, and enabled to meet Jotun’s current and future needs.


  • Ensure that all Maintenance roles and requirements are fulfilled by reviewing the operation of plant assets, including criticality and systems, constantly to minimize unplanned downtime, solve problems on time, and identify improvement opportunities.


  • Lead the Maintenance function by implementing and monitoring procedures and guidelines to ensure maintenance activities comply with local laws and regulations, ISO 9001, ISO14001, and ISO 45001, Jotun Operations System, and Jotun’s HSEQ Management system.


  • In cooperation with HSEQ and relevant stakeholders, ensure that at any time, the HSE critical installations are working as intended, but not limited to: Fire Fighting, ventilation, overflow levels, safety valves, earthing installation, emergency equipment, etc.


  • Manage, monitor, and update the maintenance system, plans, spare parts, personnel, and costs.


  • Negotiate, follow up, and review service contracts and frame agreements for external companies and equipment selection for Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience as Maintenance Manager
  • Previous experience managing OT (Operational Technologies).
  • Experience and/or knowledge in automation.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English.
