As an EHS Advisor, you will be responsible for:
- Ensure Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability compliance of the site and, activities according to GSK Standards and Local regulations.

- Demonstrate and enforce the site’s EHS policy.
- Implementation of Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability programs to safeguard the environment and human health.
- Manage Industrial Hygiene and Process Safety programs as well as all Maturity Models Programs follow up.
- Ensure compliance with site procedures.
- Reflect GSK values and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
1/ Conception - Planification:
- Ensure regulatory monitoring relating to EHS.
- Implementation of programs to protecting environment and employees and contractors’ health & safety (CAPA Management, L2 auditor, L1 auditor, Occupational Hygiene Lead, Process Safety Lead...)
- Responsible for emergency drills and major incidents scenarios (including preparation of equipment and training of personnel, reports and records)
- Weekly monitoring and communication for site EHS performance (Analyse and investigate root causes of under performances, advice on associated corrective and preventive actions)
- Share, monitor, contribute to all management monitoring programs (Dependent / Independent) for the EHS department and report the results to the EHS manager. Support site services on their EHS self-inspection.
- Creation and updating of procedures relating to EHS.
- Complete and track administrative activities for EHS services (launch and follow-up of purchase orders, registration of suppliers…etc)
- Conduct emergency drills in accordance with the emergency response procedure to ensure the effectiveness of emergency equipment preparation and personnel training.
- Contribute to the development of EHS Management and Sustainability
- Development systems as well as the implementation, improvement, and monitoring (Policy, objectives and targets, program, procedures, audit, etc.).
- Use and improvement of PBI Applications and programs.
2/ Implementation:
- Review and approve method statements and risk assessments related to Permit To Work (PTW), and Electronic PTW
- Contribute to the general EHS risk assessment activity of site operations as well as specific risks (Chemical Risk Assessment, noise, ergonomics, Transport Safety, HAC, HAZID, HAZOP, ALARP, WHATIF…etc.).
- Validate and audit contactors working with GSK.
- Ensure the implementation of Industrial Hygiene programs (IH risk assessment, followed by IH programs, ergonomics, Noise, Effectiveness of means of protection and prevention controls, training and IH awareness)
- Ensure the implementation of Process Safety programs (Process Safety risk assessment, monitoring of programs, effectiveness of means of protection and prevention controls, training and staff awareness)
- Ensure the implementation of the Health and Wellbeing
- Cooperate and support related EHS lead activities.
3/ Following Up:
- Prepare and present EHS Governances, EHS Councils, EHS Inspection Readiness Committee, Quarters meeting of Maturity models. programs, Local regulation committee of health and safety.
4/ Management:
- Use of GSK Production System, PBI for performance tracking
- Complete training on My learning
- Manage documents, Change control impact assessments on Veeva Vault Quality
- Track invoices and payments on Fiori
- Track performance end employee data on Workday
5/ Quality:
- Respect Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Respect all Procedures related to quality.
- including activities categories with SIF impact
- - Fires & Explosions (incl. Process Safety)
- - Asphyxiation
- - Machinery Safety / Energy Sources
- - Electrical Work (greater than 50V)
- - Exposure to Hazardous Agents
- - Loss / Release of Hazardous Substances
- - Extreme Temperatures
- - Pressure Release > 1 bar
- - Gravity / Lifting / Working at Height (incl. Holes & Deep Liquids)
- - Driving / Moving Vehicles / Mobile Equipment
- - Confined Space
Why you? Basic Qualifications:We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Bachelor’s degree in EHS or engineering / Or/ or LMD system Licence + Master 1 (Bachelor +03+02)
- Minimum 4 years of related experience in Environment, Health and safety field (within Pharma, Petroleum and Gas, Chemical Industry)
