Business Administrator and Sales Coordinator - Algeria

Business Administrator and Sales Coordinator reporting to the Area Director of French-speaking Africa, located in Algeria office


In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Responsible for interfacing with customers – both internal and external.
  • Coordination with government departments, tax, legal and employment etc.
  • Coordination with sales leaders of BU and support in the preparation of tenders’ documents.
  • Ensures timely update is given to customers on the status/progress of orders adhering to the Global Communication Standards.
  • Ensure adherence to local and international Emerson Trade Compliance procedures in connection with all transactions and business practices.
  • Manages and follow up daily emails and telephone traffic related to customer service,

Ensuring unparalleled service is always imparted.


  • Manage advanced, diversified, and confidential administrative tasks related to bookings, invitation letters, petty cash, office management, finance support, HR support, and visitors’ reception.
  • Manage Opportunities platforms available in French-speaking Africa and follow with BUs on

The identified RFIs and RFQs.


  • Keep track of Customer Care and administrative activities by periodic reporting.
  • HSE Representative: taking care of all related HSE topics for Algeria office.
  • Exercises high degree of independent judgment and decision making in performing assigned tasks and able to prioritize work and meeting deadlines.
  • Support invoice creation and follow up on payments and cash collection.
  • Manage vendors, invoices reception and follow up with the different customers.
  • Support custom clearance process for imports in Algeria.
  • Works with other administrative professionals across the organization in coordinating meetings, events an all other related business needs.
  • Coordination of the organization of event across XBU / BU.
  • Ensure adherence to local and international Emerson rules and ethics procedures in connection with all transactions and business practices.
  • Ensure a great degree of communication and transparency.
  • Ensure a high level of confidential related all administrative and sales aspects.
  • Other crucial duties related to the administration ad sales aspects assigned.
Who you are?
  • Excellent level of English and French Language.
  • High proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Extreme attention to details.
  • Ability to operate within a global environment and matrix organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities at once recognizing when to shift priorities
  • Strong communication skills both orally and in writing.
  • Hard worker
For this Role, You Will Need:
  • The ideal candidate should have senior level administrative assistant experience working with multiple managers and/or similar background.
  • Experience as an executive assistant is a must.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Experience within a similar industry
  • Excellent written and spoken English is essential.
