Project Lead Engineer to join our dynamic team in Algiers, Algeria. This
position offers a unique opportunity to work across North Africa and
French-speaking regions, where you will be at the forefront of critical
engineering projects.
The Project Lead Engineer will oversee project execution
from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with company standards,
client requirements, and regional regulations. This role requires frequent
travel throughout North Africa and French-speaking countries, including remote
and desert locations, to lead project teams and liaise with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management:
- Lead engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to customer specifications.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and manage resources effectively.
Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical direction and oversight to engineering teams.
- Solve complex engineering problems, identifying solutions that adhere to industry standards.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to foster strong relationships and facilitate project success.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and compliance with design specifications.
Technical Coordination:
- Coordinate all technical aspects to execute High-Performance Solutions (HPS) projects, ensuring all deliverables meet predefined quality standards.
Cost Management:
- Actively participate in cost-saving initiatives and strategies to improve project margins without compromising quality or safety.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure that all engineering projects comply with local and international regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Promote a culture of safety within the engineering team and on-site.
Budget Oversight:
- Develop project budgets, control expenditures, and justify any variances throughout the project lifecycle.
Reporting:
- Prepare and present detailed project reports and updates to management and stakeholders.
- Document project milestones, challenges, and solutions.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering ( Electronic, Electrical, automation or related field).
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in engineering or related role.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams on large-scale projects.
- Proficient in project management software and engineering design tools.
- Knowledge of local regulations and standards across North Africa.
- Multilingual: Proficiency in French and English, with additional languages considered a plus.
