Rabea Ataya

Founder and CEO
Rabea Ataya

Rabea is the founder and CEO of Bayt.com, the Middle East's leading job site and longest running internet company, which now serves over 53,200,000 professionals and over 60,000 employers from its 11 regional offices. He also founded and leads vFairs - a global leader in virtual events, YallaMotor - the most visited auto portal in the UAE, and Talentera - the leading Applicant Tracking System in the MENA Region.

Previously, he co-founded and exited: Gonabit.com - the region's first group purchasing site, InfoFort - the Middle East's first and leading records management company, and Mumzworld the region's leading mother and child e-commerce site. Today he continues to serve on the board of several Middle Eastern technology companies.

He also plays an active role in nonprofit and charitable organizations across the Middle East. Rabea graduated from Stanford University with a BS in Electrical Engineering and MS in Engineering Economic Systems.

Akram Assaf

Akram Assaf

Akram is responsible for driving new online initiatives, formulating technology strategy, and directing overall product delivery at Bayt.com. He serves as a board member for multiple online businesses, and provides mentorship and advisory for some of the leading SME businesses in the Middle East.

Akram has extensive experience in employing technological innovation in a wide range of industries and business solutions. Akram comes to Bayt.com from Oracle consulting. Akram started his career in Accenture (Andersen Consulting) where he consulted Middle Eastern governments and leading corporations on technology implementation in the fields of Finance and HR Systems.

Akram is a graduate of Jordan University with a BSc in Computer Science.

Nauman A. Mian

Chief Financial Officer
Nauman A. Mian

Nauman’s role involves defining the strategic direction and developing expansion plans at Bayt.com and its group entities. He is responsible for financial planning, setting KPIs across the organization, risk-management, and handling local regulatory and tax compliances across multiple geographies.

Nauman also holds multiple honorary positions including being elected as a Global Council member of ACCA. He is also a member of Global Tax Forum and Accountants in Businesses Forum. He was listed among the most influential CFOs in GCC by Khaleej Times.

Nauman is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, a fellow member of Chartered Certified Accountants and is a Certified Internal Auditor
