What we need:
Operations Manager- Central Control Room: Responsible for managing the central control room (monitoring and control station) providing all centralized services to all renewable energy projects in Uzbekistan (this may add other Central Asia assets in future depending upon growth and legal requirements).
The central control room will be managing multiple (more than 10-15) renewable energy assets comprising of PV, Wind, and BESS technologies. The control room will be manned 24/7 with control room operations team and the Operations Manager is responsible for smooth operations and reliability of the renewable energy assets and providing instructions to maintenance teams to timely address the issues. Operational reliability, plant availability, and performance optimization is the key demands for this role.
- Ensure 24/7 monitoring and control of PV, BESS, WTGs, and BoPs towards optimized response time and ensure highest availability of the equipment
-Ensure efficient dispatching of field service teams as required.
-Ensure troubleshooting of SCADA and communications related failures, providing technical expertise in coordination with Field service teams to the extent required towards maximized SCADA availability.

-Be single point of contact for customers, off takers, grid operators and grid dispatching authorities for any dispatch or grid integration requirements. Ensure all communication with grid operators, off takers or any other grid related authorities is well managed and fast responsive.
-SCADA analytics, bad actors identification and leading the predictive analytics team
-Weather risk prevention and smart scheduling according to Wind/ generation forecasts
-Asset performances indexes (TBA/ EBA) monitoring & improvement
-Lead SCADA & Communications Engineering activities in a diligent and professional manner, whilst utilizing the support of Centre of Excellence COE (Dubai) as required
-Comply with all ACWA POWER Policies and Procedures and customer site rules direct all PV, BESS, and Wind farm operations at the site for maintenance and repair, focusing on performance and profitability and within the framework of defined operation guidelines, protocols and procedures.
Who will fit:
-University Degree in an Engineering discipline.
-Experience with Centralized SCADA remote monitoring and control of Wind Turbines, PV &BESS is preferred
-7-10 years minimum experience leading teams, preferably as technical leadership of field technicians' teams, of engineering services, of SCADA control & monitoring services, or of QA/QC O&M teams
-Fluent in English language (Bilingual in Russian / Uzbek / Chinese preferred).
-Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
-Detailed knowledge of major components commonly applied in Envision Wind Turbines, particularly electrical cabinets such as converters and control cabinets
-Proven experience using schematics, drawings, electrical diagrams and single line diagrams.
-Excellent technical background on Envision troubleshooting,
-Operationally focused in the delivery of outcomes and ensuring overall results/KPI’s are met
-Ability to produce clear and concise technical documents in English language.
-Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
-Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings and single line diagrams.
-Ability to solve complex problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
-Ability to work with minimal supervision, given proper instructions.
-Excellent understanding of Envision diagnostic tools and its use, as well as others in the market.
-Good communication skills

-Proven capabilities of knowledge transfer and continuous guidance of his/her team
-Good work organizational skills, with multitasking capabilities to deal with many requirements in parallel
