Key Responsibilities
• Develop and refine accounting procedures for construction projects.
• Manage inventory using QuickBooks and Builder Trend.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop cost-effective budgets for construction projects.
• Oversee accounting duties throughout project lifecycles, including cash flow estimation and
purchase order approvals.
• Analyze transactions, adjust budgets, and incorporate unforeseen costs.
• Maintain detailed financial records for audits and tax purposes.
• Prepare cost analyses and financial reports for management.
• Identify financial risks and budget discrepancies.
• Monitor market trends and price fluctuations in construction materials.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Stay updated with industry trends in construction accounting.
Requirements
Must-Have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in private or public accounting.
• Strong understanding of construction cost accounting and financial procedures.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Builder Trend.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
