How can you make a difference?

Programme Associate will support the analytical work of the RAM Team. Tasks will cut across different topics with a main focus on collecting, processing, cleaning, managing, analysing and presenting economic and market data. Topics will mainly be related to economic analysis and analysis of data from price surveys and market surveys, as well as food security impacts of economic events. Specific tasks include:

  • Develop market assessment and price data collection materials in accordance with corporate standards and support market and price data collection and analysis.
  • Programme and test market and price survey tools, support their deployment in the field and carry out price cleaning.
  • Analyse price data, inflation and exchange rate trends. Upload of food prices on to WFP’s price database.
  • Participate in market assessments to assess market functionality across different areas of Ukraine and write assessment reports based on findings.
  • Contribute to the analysis for and drafting of briefs about food prices, economic outlook, agricultural production and market development and other relevant topics.
  • Support the training of data collectors including preparation of materials.
  • Support RAM colleagues across functional areas with various field data collection exercises and analysis as requested.
  • Any other assigned task.
