General Builder/Mason

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Builder/Mason to join our team in the UK. The ideal candidate will have minimum of 5 years experience and expertise in various construction tasks such as masonry, carpentry, and more. If you are a hands-on individual with a passion for building and creating, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Perform various construction tasks including:

• Foundations
• Masonry work (Bricklaying, Block laying)
• Steel/lintel installation
• Carpentry
• Plastering
• Roofing
• Plumbing
• Electrical work
• Painting
• Using heavy machinery appropriately (Excavator, digger, dumper etc)
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete projects efficiently.
• Fabricate structures and components according to blueprints and specifications.
• Ensure quality workmanship and attention to detail in all projects.
• Erecting, maintaining and dismantling shuttering/formwork
• Understanding technical drawings
• Soundproofing or waterproofing structures
• Laying pipes

Experience in this kind of works is essential. The successful applicant must be happy to work as part of a team or alone. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 Years experience and 2 professional references available.

Qualifications:

• 4-5 years of proven experience as a Builder
• Proven experience in construction and building projects.
• Proficiency in masonry, welding, electrical work, carpentry, painting, roofing, plumbing, and other related skills.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
