We are currently seeking a highly skilled and talented VP of Development to focus on their trading platform.
Responsibilities:
• Cultivate a collaborative environment by working closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Identify and resolve performance issues to improve the platform's responsiveness and efficiency.
• Advocate for thorough testing practices, including unit tests, integration tests, and automation, to ensure the application's reliability and stability.
• Guide, mentor, and oversee a group of developers, QA professionals, and business analysts. Define clear objectives, set performance targets, and create career development plans for each team member.
• Work with cross-functional teams to design scalable and resilient architectures for our trading applications, focusing on performance, security, and user experience.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to the team, ensuring adherence to industry best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 6 years of proven experience in a technical lead or similar role, particularly in developing mission-critical systems or financial applications.programming, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• 6+ years in a management position
• Experience with microservices architecture, containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and REST API design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
