Visiting English Language Lecturer

Ajman University’s Department of Languages and Culture, within the College of Humanities and Sciences, is seeking a highly qualified English Language Lecturer to join our dynamic faculty team. Qualifications:

• MA in English Language or a closely related discipline.
• A minimum of two years of teaching experience at the university level.
• Native-level English proficiency or near-native fluency.
• Excellent communication skills, with a demonstrated commitment to student-centered teaching.
• Proficiency in innovative teaching methodologies, including the use of technology-enhanced learning tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver English language courses across various proficiency levels.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of course curriculum and instructional materials.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students, supporting their academic and personal development.
• Actively participate in departmental meetings, research initiatives, and ongoing professional development activities.
• Engage in collaborative efforts to promote cross-cultural awareness and foster a globally inclusive learning environment.
