UAV Drone Pilot – Abu Dhabi

An international defense company is seeking an experienced UAV Drone Pilot to join their operations in Abu Dhabi. This is a rare and prestigious opportunity to work at the forefront of defense aviation technology within a globally recognised organisation.

The role offers a highly competitive salary package of up to 300,000 USD per annum, reflecting the level of expertise and operational capabilities required.

• Operating advanced UAV systems in line with defense sector protocols and operational requirements
• Conducting ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance) missions and tactical UAV operations
• Coordinating with defense forces and ground teams to ensure mission success
• Performing pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight checks to maintain UAV performance and safety
• Supporting mission planning, data analysis, and reporting to command teams

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience as a UAV Drone Pilot in a defense or military environment (civilian-only UAV experience will not be considered)
• Hands-on expertise in UAV operations, preferably within high-stakes or operational theatres
• Strong understanding of UAV flight systems, payloads, and ground control stations
• Familiarity with defense sector regulations and UAV operational security protocols
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments and adapt to evolving mission objectives
• Security clearance or the ability to obtain one is highly advantageous
