This role focuses on managing the commercial functions of Procurement Department on sourcing the products and services such as consultancy, contracting and outsourcing as required by all assigned departments. To handle major / high value purchases from relevant business units.

Description
To handle major/high value purchases through proper tendering processTo flout Request for Proposal (RFP) document and ensure all related documents attached with RFP invitation package.To communicate with Vendors and end user on RFP requirementTo prepare commercial evaluation report, negotiate price and payment terms.To prepare tender evaluation reportTo develop tender evaluation method, compliance criteria and scoring metrics to ensure uniform policy and procedure for vendor selection.To process and approve purchase requisitions and orders.To build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers and negotiate the best deals/price with consideration to quality and market conditions/status of the goods and services being procured.To ensure compliance with the applicable procurement policies and proceduresTo contribute in establishing or updating procurement processesTo suggest improvements to procurement systems in terms of price, quality and time to respond
Profile
UAE National with Family Book (REQUIRED)Bachelors degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or any other relevant majors.6+ years of experience within procurement, vendor management and contract negotiation.At least 3 years of management experience. SAP Knowledge is a plusCIPS Certification is preferredGood communication and negotiation skills
