As they expand, we are looking for an experienced and strategic Trading Director to oversee trading operations and elevate the market position.

Role Overview:

As the Trading Director, you will take charge of managing and enhancing the trading strategy and execution, driving operational efficiency, and optimizing the digital trading platforms. You’ll work closely with the leadership team to refine and execute trading strategies that ensure sustained growth and profitability in a competitive and evolving market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the trading team, providing direction and mentorship to maximize performance.
• Develop, implement, and refine comprehensive trading strategies that align with business goals and market trends.
• Analyze market conditions, execute trades, and optimize trading algorithms to ensure best execution and risk management.
• Collaborate with the product, tech, and data science teams to enhance trading platforms and leverage emerging technologies.
• Monitor and report on trading performance, setting KPIs and ensuring consistent profitability.
• Oversee risk management protocols and compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
• Keep up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes, adapting strategies to stay ahead.
• Drive strategic partnerships with liquidity providers, market makers, and other key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience in a senior trading role (e.g., Head of Trading, Senior Trader, Trading Manager) within fintech, prop trading, or investment firms.
• Deep understanding of financial markets, trading strategies, and risk management.
• Strong knowledge of algorithmic trading, execution systems, and trading platforms.
• Expertise in leveraging data analytics to drive performance and decision-making.
• Leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
• A solid understanding of regulatory requirements within the fintech and trading space.
• Innovative mindset with a passion for technology and its potential to revolutionize the trading industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and engage with key stakeholders.
