Temporary English-speaking Governor required for B6, located in Dubai & Maldives. Live in. Salary £250 to £300 per day. Start 4th January 2025.
A lovely family is looking for a qualified and experienced English-speaking Governor for their son aged 6 years old to support him in his general development and education during their holidays.
As a Governor, you will be required to immerse the boy in the English language through structured and planned games, activities, and play. You will be responsible for meeting the boy's daily needs with routines and offer learning at every opportunity. You will also escort him during walks, and to additional activities, promote good behaviour, teach etiquette, and be a positive role model.
The boy is smart & active, he enjoys swimming, breakdancing and football. He also likes to study and learn about various mechanisms and construction. The boy's native language is Russian, and he is a beginner in English.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified and experienced teacher with previous experience of working with this age group in private households. The candidate should hold relevant qualifications (PGCE/QTS) as well as a solid understanding of primary education. The candidate should be enthusiastic, energetic & friendly, able to engage the boy in a fun and relaxed manner.
The working schedule is 24/7, the appropriate breaks will be provided.
The family will spend their holidays in Dubai, UAE and Maldives. There is an opportunity to extend this contract and continue to work with the boy in Moscow, Russia on a Full-time basis with 5/2 schedule.
This is a live-in position, where you will be required to share a room with the boy.
The salary on offer is £250 to £300 per day and is negotiable depending on the skills and qualifications of the candidate.
