Accurately interpret repair orders from the Job Controller and understand customer concerns to initiate the appropriate actions.
Perform comprehensive pre-inspections using the standard quality health check sheet to assess vehicle conditions.
Execute vehicle repairs and maintenance in compliance with established standards, aiming to complete tasks within the designated standard hours.
Utilize diagnostic scan tools effectively to pinpoint vehicle issues and ensure accurate repairs.
Maintain workshop productivity by efficiently managing time and resources to meet or exceed expected levels of efficiency and utilization.
Coordinate with the parts division through the team leader to procure necessary parts promptly.
Communicate with the Team leader regarding any additional repair needs, unnecessary work, or time frame adjustments for completing repairs.
Possess the capability to correctly fault find across a broad range of auto repairs, including advanced diagnostics, driveline, engine, and wheel alignment services, adhering to the principle of "Fix it Right First Time."
Attend assigned training programs to stay current with automotive technology and enhance professional skills.
Implement and maintain workplace organization and cleanliness following the 5S methodology.
Follow safety protocols and housekeeping procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Understand and comply with all service repair regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
Be willing to work overtime as required by the Team Leader to manage increased workshop workloads.
Use protective covers on customer vehicles to safeguard against damage during service.
Adhere to a professional dress code and ensure job cards accurately reflect the materials and services provided for each vehicle
