GAINS Technician
Primary Responsibilities:
· Responsible for inspecting, testing, cleaning and repair of Galley inserts in accordance with established procedures and technical data.
· Responsible for carrying out troubleshooting and clearing of defects.
· Follows repair and return processes to ensure high quality and short cycle time of repair and return.
· Maintain high levels of quality.
· Comply with all rules and regulations of Collins Aerospace, including, but not limited to: Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics, International Trade Compliance and Human Resources.
· Accurately document maintenance carried out.
Required Qualifications:
· Minimum Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience is required.
· Ability to utilize computer systems (MS Office, Etc.) to input & retrieve information.
· Must be available for overtime, including extended workdays and weekends.
· Comply with EH&S policies and procedures at all times, including wearing appropriate PPE. Attend EH&S trainings as required.
· Report unsafe practices and/or conditions to the appropriate individuals to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards.
· Recommend improvements to EH&S practices in order to create a safer workplace.
· The ability to interpret schematics and/or technical drawings.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Preferably with experience working on Ovens, Beverage makers and Chillers
Working Conditions:
· 100% of time spent on production floor with occasional loud noise, requiring safety glasses.
· Constant daily exposure to adhesive and solvent vapors.
· Constant daily pushing and pulling and lifting of hardware.
· Exposure to machinery with moving parts.
