Technical Procurement Lead (Hubs)

Job Purpose



Key Result Responsibilities



• To oversee Total component support management to all hubs thereby ensuring timely placement of orders with the service provider in relation to all categories and ensuring core returns are made in time as per the agreed timeframe.
• Work with central Technical Operations Procurement teams to ensure all day-to-day matters are addressed and the hub’s requirements are getting due attention and priority
• Ensure adequate material support is provided to all hubs in relation to safety stocks, hard removals and material requirement related to SBs/Eos etc
• Maintain effective liaison with on ground procurement/Stores/Logistic staff at hubs to ensure routine all activities related to component support, repairs and material management is adequately managed.
• Keep liaison with AirArabia AOG Desk to ensure all urgent demands related to hubs are timely actioned and tracked.
• Review and monitor over and above charges claimed by the Service Provider along with the Component team for timely processing and approvals
• Support the team in technical & commercial analysis of disputed claims such as customer induced damage and warranties
• Analyse and monitor KPIs for SLAs across all areas of technical procurement operations related to service levels and costs.
• Regularly track and review performance data to ensure adherence to SLAs.
• Identify trends, variances, and issues, and recommend corrective actions to ensure operational efficiency.
• Review other repair / purchase agreements for all the hubs and co-ordinate with the central procurement team to synergize them at group level
• Support the Tech Ops Procurement team in activities related to hubs as needed.

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)



Degree in Aeronautical / Mechanical engineering/ LAME Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications especially Microsoft Excel

Work Experience



5 to 7 years’ experience in Engineering / Maintenance Planning / Component repair management in an airline/ MRO environment Familiarity with airworthiness regulations (GCAA, FAA, EASA) is a must. Capable of working in adherence to policies, procedures, and operating manuals as per business needs and in line with adopted regulations and approved quality standards. Cost-oriented, and problem-solving skills. * Technical and commercial acumen to understand component shop reports/ Technical estimates
