· Responsible to manage the design team.
· Responsible for managing the design process using programme/ time awareness and Technical expertise.
· Supporting, understanding and advising the client as to the requirements and obligations in the development of a building design
· Responsible for encouraging and inspiring design team to produce their best work using their full flair, experience, resources and talents in a cost effective way.
· Responsible for attending & coordinating department meetings.
· Ensuring the design process recognizes current legislation, standards and codes of practice where appropriate.
· Responsible for collaborating with other departments
· Responsible for delegating and reviewing team assignments.
· Responsible for creating innovative designs, drafts, or presentations.
· Responsible to ensuring design quality and that design directives are followed.
· Act as the point of contact and communicate for technical and design related matters both internal and external of the company.
· Liaise with Clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives.
· Make certain that client’s needs are met as the project evolves.
· Help prepare project proposals, timeframes, schedule and budget.
The candidate should have a strong background in the Interiors fit-out industry.
