As a Technical Engineer – Public cloud, you will take an active role in developing and maturing the product and services roadmap on the public cloud, in alignment with architecture principles and IT strategy. As well as design, develop, support, and deliver automated and cost-effective public cloud services. This includes working on landing zone components, shared services, network, policies and consumable services, using Infrastructure as Code through Terraform. The successful candidate will also take part in application onboarding and cost optimisation on the cloud recommending and implementing saving plans wherever applicable.

In this role you will:

• Take an active role in developing the public cloud roadmap. Provide recommendations and feedback for enhancements.
• Recommend and implement cloud native capabilities to replace traditional services.
• Follow Emirates Agile Delivery methodology to design and deliver features aligned with the roadmap.
• Implement and maintain landing zones and availability zones through code. Implement and maintain shared services through code.
• Drive Infrastructure as code automation in all public cloud offerings and services through IaC.
• Enforce standards, security compliance and guardrails using policies through code.
• Assist in establishing cost optimization practices on the cloud.
• Participate in application onboarding to the public cloud.
• Establish and maintain product documentations and low-level design documents.
• Provide required operational support to cloud services in line with the agreed services levels.
