Technical Business Development Manager - Test Kits for Dairy  

What the role would look like?

• As a business development manager in the test kit & equipment product range for the region, you engage with customers in presenting our test kit portfolio, drive the sales towards customers.
• You will do this by working closely with the regional account teams and be the technical lead for the region on -- ‘Why and How to Use’, 'implementation and benefits' from our test kit portfolio.
• Taking the lead on different test kit projects, outlines their technical and commercial requirements and follow up of the same with responsible account manager or alone.
• Engage in technical discussion with local external labs, institutes regarding product approval, certification, or product registration, etc., that support the growth of the test kit product portfolio and outline the requirements.
• Assess and evaluate the technical and commercial feasibility of new product development requests for the region and drive the development of new product development projects for the region with the Global Business Development and Marketing team.
• You should be the go-to person for the test kit business for the region and able to provide technical support by answering customer questions, troubleshooting customer concerns, or solving routine problems.
• Design and execute a marketing strategy for business retention and growth of the test kit portfolio for the assigned region or geographies.
• The role will cover Turkey, Middle East and Africa regions and the person can expect to travel around 50% of the time.
  

The person should have the following skills/qualifications:

• Possess an in-depth understanding and experience in dairy manufacturing, especially in quality control or milk procurement.
• Must have technical knowledge with hands-on experience of rapid test kits, diagnostic measurements, and services.
• Must have good communication skills in Turkish and English. Fluency in Arabic and French will be a plus.
• Able to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals for different projects.
• Must have a good understanding of mobile apps, clouds, digital services, or hardware.
• Possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in dairy science, food technology, or food chemistry, and supported with 3-5 years of working experience in technical sales/sales.
• Passionate about food safety and consumer health while having a passion for the food industry.
