About the Job: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Laundry Team Leader.

Job Purpose: To ensure efficient laundry production and maintain high standards of quality. The role involves directing team members, ensuring customer satisfaction, and overseeing day-to-day laundry operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the team of linen and uniform attendants, ensuring operational objectives are met.
• Ensure team adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized operational area and report any damaged items.
• Ensure quality control for linen processing and other services.
• Assist the Laundry Manager with daily operations and staff training.
• Oversee linen and uniform stacking, recording, and delivery for special events.
• Ensure the proper handling of damaged or stained linens and uniforms.
• Manage customer service issues effectively and ensure proper billing for guest laundry.
• Assign schedules and duties to the laundry team according to business needs.
• Participate in inventory management and take stock of consumables.
• Report on laundry/linen productivity and update records daily.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of laundry experience, preferably in a similar role.
• Good communication skills in English.

Competencies:

• Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with OPERA PMS software.
• Physically fit, with a positive attitude and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
