Teacher of Humanities (GP/ SSt/ EM)
Job Description
- Develop lesson plans and curriculum for secondary level humanities subject.
- Teach students about different cultures, historical events, geography, and social studies concepts.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment in the classroom.
- Assess students' progress and provide feedback on their performance.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support students' holistic development.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events.
Skills
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in education (B.Ed.), Bachelors/Masters in Humanities, or a relevant field.
- Strong knowledge of geography, history, and social studies concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, empathetic, and passionate about working with young learners.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Creative and innovative teaching methods.
- Proven experience in teaching secondary level students.
- Continuous professional development and willingness to learn and grow in the field.
