Description: Qualification/Experience: Certified professional with minimum 8 years of working experience. Expertise in Indirect and direct taxation + UAE experience or GCC experience Preferably from real estate experience Previous experience with Big 4 will be an added advantage. Taxation certification will be an added advantage. Team handling experience is a must. Experience of handling VAT audits / other Government audits preferred. Understanding of IFRS reporting from a practical perspective and its interplay with taxation laws Key responsibilities: Managing the direct and indirect tax functions of the Company covering the entire gamut of taxation compliance beginning from registrations, returns, audits and assessments. Interaction with Big 4 consultants and Government authorities Good knowledge of Oracle or equivalent ERP + BI tools, System oriented, ability to drive constant system improvements for faster and accurate reporting. Managing the key stakeholders including CFO, CEO and Chairman from a taxation perspective Assisting top management in evaluating the impact of taxation laws on business strategy and new transactions Automation in taxation reporting Data archival and record management.
