The purpose of this role is to support the Talent Acquisition (TA) team in identifying, attracting, and onboarding top
talent for the organization. As a Trainee in Talent Acquisition, you will assist in executing recruitment strategies, managing candidate pipelines, and ensuring a smooth recruitment process. This role contributes to the overall hiring goals of the organization by supporting TA activities and fostering positive candidate experience. The role includes but is not limited to: Strategic Recruitment:
Support the team in identifying and attracting qualified candidates through multiple channels
Assist in understanding staffing needs and requirements from hiring managers
Screen resumes and applications, forwarding qualified candidates for further review
Help promote diversity and inclusion in the recruitment process.
Assist in gathering required documents from selected candidates, such as attested qualifications and passport materials
Support in creating and publishing job advertisements across various platforms.
Objectives:
Build a strong candidate pipeline for both current and future staffing needs
Stay updated on industry recruitment trends and best practices
Aid in achieving timely fulfillment of vacancies with suitable candidates
Ensure that all recruitment activities are in line with labor laws and organizational policies
Execution and Communication:
Support in scheduling interviews and maintaining a positive candidate experience throughout the process
Keep candidates informed and provide timely updates on their application status
Work closely with HR colleagues to ensure smooth onboarding of new hires
Task Management:
Help maintain an up-to-date CV database for the organization
Assist in updating candidate interactions and recruitment metrics within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Generate basic recruitment reports and track key metrics such as time-to-fill and source effectiveness
Follow the approval matrix for issuing offer letters under supervision
Data Management and Compliance:
Share new joiner information with relevant departments
Handle confidential and sensitive information discreetly
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations
Adhere to all organizational processes and procedures, including HR, HSEQ, Finance, IT, Procurement, and Operations, while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations
Requirements
Minimum 1-2 years in recruitment, preferably within an facility management or engineering industry
Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with candidates and stakeholders
Ability to provide excellent service to internal and external stakeholders
Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to manage documentation and maintain up-to-date candidate records
Willingness to learn and stay current on recruitment trends and market practices
Strong organizational skills to ensure accurate data entry and process compliance
Basic understanding of labor laws and HR policies
Ability to work well with team members and take direction effectively
