Info Arab Media FZ-LLC / Al Mashhad is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our existing Technology Team in the Headquarter located in Dubai, UAE. The Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining the uninterrupted operation of the Core IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will work within a small team responsible for the Installation and support of new and existing hardware and the ongoing management of the IT infrastructure.Able to support issues and resolution within a tightly managed ‘change controlled’ environment.Providing training and technical support for users with varying levels of IT knowledge and competence, preparing the cost/benefit.
The accountabilities are:
Ø Installation of equipment.
Ø Administering and developing network security controls on a global network as per the specified policy definitions.
Ø Experience in working with M365 Admin, AD, DNS, DHCP, Anti-Virus, Firewall, Cisco technology framework including security, wireless.
Ø Network & Systems monitoring and management for uptime.
Ø Design and implementations of systems and services.
Ø Analysing and resolving faults within a structured environment.
Ø Routine preventative measures and the implementation of IT Services & security.
Ø Providing training and technical support to varying levels of IT knowledge and competence.
Ø Works closely with other departments / organizations and collaborates with other Broadcast Engineering & Dev Ops staff.
Ø Plans and implements system upgrades and liaise with SLA vendor support tickets.
Requirements - Experienced with Switches Cisco Wireless Controllers and AP’s
- Cisco CUCM and Fortinet firewalls.
- Azure and/or AWS Cloud Hosting Technologies
- Multicast, TCP and UDP, MPLS VRF, SD-WAN LAN switching (STP, VSL, CoPP, Switch Security etc)
- An understand of Video Codecs, IPTV, NAS Systems would be advantageous
- Experience of working in a highly pressurized environment with business-critical systems and knowledge of the Entertainment Industry and Broadcasting would be a distinct advantage.
- Experience in Windows environment such as Windows server operating systems, Active directory, Exchange Servers, Vsphere , DNS, DHCP, SCCM, Certification Authority, Backup solutions, Storage Azure , Office365 etc.
- Experience with hardware platforms that include HP, Dell, & IBM etc.
- Experience in Patch management, problem analytical skills and logs analysis
- Ensuring the servers are compliant to organization standards, meets the compliance policies set by the organization.
- Provide support from server platform side to the various project teams, to ensure that projects are executed within their deadlines, and integrated into company IT systems without affecting services
- Conduct Proof of Concept (PoC) tests to ensure vendor solutions meet the organizations requirements
- Experience in working in an ITIL Process environment to maintain the SLAs with the customer.
- Ability to manage critical outages simultaneously.

- Experience with operation of medium to large-scale enterprise and cloud infrastructures, databases, and application systems with high-availability requirements.
- Ability to learn and apply new technical skills and concepts quickly
- Participate in all Change Management processes including risk assessment and procedural development and review
- Design, build, implement and support robust system as per the agreed design/solution
- Automate daily task through different tool and scripting. This will also include monitoring the reduction of manual tickets.
- Deep understanding of how VMware Update Management solutions works to keep the Infra up to date
- Collaborate with different hardware and software vendors to address company business and technical requirements.
- Ability to work with different OEMs to troubleshoot infrastructure issues
- Manage, oversee and lead a team of system engineers that deliver operating systems support services to technology and business teams across our organization.
- Understanding of network & Security infrastructure in the environment.
- Microsoft based certifications such as MCP, MCTS, MCDST, MCSA, MCSE, MCITP
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or similar experience
- Good written and spoken English
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
