Job Description
This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates with a passion for system engineering and a desire to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment. Engineers will be mainly responsible for troubleshooting L1 issues and coordinating with senior engineers for L2& L3 issues.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of system infrastructure, including servers, storage, and virtualization environments.
- Support system monitoring and performance tuning to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, collaborating with senior engineers as needed.
- Participate in system backups, disaster recovery planning, and data management.
- Help with the deployment of software applications and updates across systems.
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT projects and initiatives.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices in system engineering
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and system administration concepts.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Additional Information
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Linux+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals are a plus.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python) is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience through internships or academic projects involving system engineering or IT support.
