We are hiring a Supply Chain Manager, you will be entrusted with a critical mission: delivering and executing the supply chain strategy for multiple business units spanning across Africa, Middle East, and Asia Pacific.

Role Overview: As the regional Supply Chain Manager, Your role will involve leading teams to ensure that Aggreko's supply chain is always on point, delivering the right products to the right locations at the right time.


What's more, you will be playing a vital role in coordinating the multiple interfaces between all stakeholders involved in the supply chain. You'll be the driving force behind the development and maintenance of the ERP system functionality and associated processes to improve the overall supply chain and inventory performance.


In this position, you'll be reporting to the Head of Category. Get ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role that will push your skills and abilities to the limit.


What you’ll do:


  • Create and oversee a high performing team, establishing well-defined roles, duties, performance standards and embedding best in class supply chain practices.


  • Act as a point of escalation for key supply chain issues, ensuring that any problems are resolved quickly and efficiently. With your in-depth knowledge of the supply chain, you'll be able to provide expert guidance and support to teams across the organization.


  • As the Supply Chain Manager, you'll be tasked with reviewing the existing supply chain processes. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing a transformation plan that will elevate how the supply chain supports the business, ensuring that it operates at peak efficiency.


  • To achieve this, you'll work closely with IT colleagues, leveraging their expertise to develop the functionality of the ERP system and ensure it aligns with the overall strategy. This will enable you to streamline supply chain processes, enhance inventory management, and optimize logistics operations.


  • In addition, you'll collaborate with the procurement team to establish the most appropriate and efficient supply chain design and material flow from suppliers into the business. By working together, you'll be able to drive down costs, improve lead times, and enhance the overall performance.


  • Develop, monitor and manage supply chain KPIs to improve performance. You'll use data analysis and insights to identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies that increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance the overall quality of the supply chain.


You’ll have the following skills and experience: 


  • Experience managing a supply chain team in a global manufacturing business with a deep understanding of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory management,


  • Experience of implementing process and systems changes with an ability to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for change


  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in a similar environment with experience in relevant ERP systems


  • A positive can-do attitude. A highly motivated individual, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering results with an ability to inspire and motivate a team.


  • Willingness to take ownership of problems and drive solutions. A proactive problem-solver, with the ability to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions to complex supply chain challenges.
