Supervisor - Landscape - Dubai Holding Community Management

Job Purpose:

To plan, design, implement, and maintain aesthetically pleasing and functional landscapes within DHCM communities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, environmental regulations, and budget constraints, while enhancing the overall appearance and value of the properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Planning: Develop landscape designs, including planting plans, irrigation systems, hardscape features, and other landscape elements, considering site conditions, aesthetic requirements, and functionality. Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for landscape projects.
• Project Management: Oversee the implementation of landscape projects, coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to design specifications, timelines, and budgets. Manage construction activities, ensuring quality control and compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintenance & Upkeep: Develop and implement landscape maintenance programs, including irrigation scheduling, fertilization, pest control, pruning, and turf management. Supervise landscape maintenance activities, ensuring proper execution and adherence to best practices. Monitor the health and condition of plants and turf, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
• Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets for landscape projects and maintenance activities. Track expenses, monitor cost-effectiveness, and ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Contractor Management: Manage contracts with landscape contractors and suppliers. Negotiate service agreements, monitor contractor performance, and ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
• Environmental Stewardship: Promote sustainable landscaping practices, including water conservation, use of native plants, and integrated pest management. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices.
• Community Engagement: Collaborate with community stakeholders to understand their landscape preferences and incorporate their feedback into design and maintenance plans. Communicate effectively with residents regarding landscape projects and maintenance activities.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare regular reports on landscape maintenance activities, project progress, and budget performance. Maintain accurate records of landscape designs, specifications, and maintenance plans.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field.
• Minimum of [Number] years of proven experience in landscape design, construction, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of plant materials, irrigation systems, and landscape construction techniques.
• Proficiency in landscape design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) and MS Office Suite.
