We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supermarket Branch Supervisor to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail industry. As a Supermarket Branch Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our supermarket branch, ensuring excellent customer service, managing inventory, and maximizing sales.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and supervise all aspects of the supermarket branch, including staff, inventory, and customer service.
  2. Train and develop staff to provide excellent customer service and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  3. Monitor and analyze sales and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
  4. Ensure the supermarket is fully stocked with fresh and high-quality products, while minimizing waste and maintaining inventory accuracy.
  5. Oversee the merchandising and display of products to attract customers and maximize sales.
  6. Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the supermarket branch, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  7. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations, providing prompt and satisfactory resolutions.
  8. Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and marketing, to coordinate promotions, discounts, and special events.
  9. Prepare and analyze reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify opportunities and make informed business decisions.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Prior experience as a Supermarket Branch Supervisor or similar role in the retail industry.
  2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  5. Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Proficient in using inventory management software and point-of-sale systems.
  7. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the retail industry.
  8. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  9. Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
